Science Daily - Signs of fetal alcohol syndrome detected in womb
New images reveal the earliest impairments to nonhuman primate fetal brain development due to alcohol ingested by the mother, in a study involving rhesus macaques. Magnetic resonance imaging showed impairments to brain growth during the third trimester of pregnancy, even though the fetus was exposed to alcohol only during the first trimester.

Due to the uncertainties around the Covid-19 pandemic, the Board feels that the wisest decision is to postpone the conference until 12 to 15 September of 2021. We are very sorry not to meet you in a few months, but hope to see in 2021! Together, transcriptional control in the hippocampus is implicated as a potential underlying mechanism leading to anxiety-like behavior via environmental insults.
