t’s estimated that 3.2% of babies born in the UK are affected by Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. A University of Salford study found that 1.8–3.6% of children assessed may have Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), which could mean that 1.2–2.4 million people in the UK may have had FASD in 2020.
